Audit Points to trouble at education board
The Statesman comes to exactly the wrong conclusion about how the fiduciary audit should impact the selection of Geraldine Miller for the chair of the State Board of Education.

Any close scrutiny into the PSF will demonstrate that Mrs. Miller is the best choice that Governor Perry could make for chair. It was Mrs. Miller who had the foresight to predict and anticipate the possibility of controversy swirling around the PSF. She in vain tried to prevent it.

It is Mrs.Miller who has consistently worked for a spotless children's fund. No one sits taller in the saddle when it comes to protetcting what she affectionately calls the children's texbook fund!
